Certification requirements will be enforced when employees attempt to clock in to the project.
Attach Certifications to a Project
Use this method to require certifications for a specific project.
Steps:
Go to Management Lists.
Click Projects.
Select the project you want to update.
Click the Certifications tab.
Click New Requirement.
Select a Certification from the dropdown menu.
If the certification you need is not listed, click Manage.
This will open the Certification Management list, where you can create a new certification.
After selecting the certification, click Submit.
The certification is now required for that project.
What Happens After You Add a Certification Requirement
Employees must have the required certification to clock time to the project.
If an employee does not have the certification, they will be prevented from clocking in.
Certification requirements will appear under the Certifications tab for the project.
Important Notes
Certifications are pulled from a centralized certification list.
Adding a requirement does not assign the certification to employees—it only enforces the requirement.
Employees must have an active certification to meet the requirement.
Multiple certifications can be required for a single project.
