Once a GPS device is coupled to equipment, you can view its location in BusyBusy on both Web and Mobile.
On Web
There are multiple ways to view equipment locations on Web:
View Location from the Equipment Details Page
Use this method to view location for a specific piece of equipment.
Steps:
Go to Equipment.
Click Status.
Click Show All.
Select the equipment.
Scroll down to the Last Known Location card.
Click Details.
From here, you can:

If your GPS device supports engine diagnostics, this page also displays telematics information.
View All Equipment on the Universal Map
Use the Universal Map to see equipment, projects, and employees in one place.
Steps:
Click Map from the left side menu.
Use the filter panel on the right to control what is displayed.
You can toggle:
Equipment
Projects
Clock-in locations
Last known locations
This view is helpful for monitoring multiple pieces of equipment at once.
View Equipment from the Equipment Map
Use this view to focus only on equipment locations.
Steps:
Go to Management Lists.
Click Equipment.
Click Map.
From here, you can:
View all equipment locations.
Search by name, make, or model.
Filter by category.
On Mobile
You can view equipment location in the BusyBusy mobile app in two ways.
View Location from the Equipment Details Page
Use this method to view an individual piece of equipment.
Steps:
Open the BusyBusy app
Tap Equipment
Select the equipment
The Last Location appears on the map at the bottom of the Equipment Details page.
Tap the map to:

If your device supports diagnostics, tap Current Diagnostics to view engine data.
View All Equipment on the Universal Map
Use the Universal Map to see all equipment at once.
Steps:
Tap Map from the left side menu.
Ensure the Equipment tab is enabled.
You can toggle between:
Equipment
Projects
Clocked-in employees

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I see both GPS and Clock Action locations?
BusyBusy can display locations from the GPS device and from employee clock actions. The location source is labeled on the map.
Why don’t I see breadcrumbs?
Breadcrumb trails are only available if your GPS device supports breadcrumb reporting.
Why is my location not updating?
If a device was recently coupled, it may take up to 24 hours for the first location update to appear.
