Complete a Post-Operation Equipment Inspection (Mobile)

Post-operation equipment inspections help document equipment condition after use. When a post-operation inspection is assigned to equipment, employees are prompted to complete the inspection when they clock out or switch to a different piece of equipment.

Complete a Post-Operation Equipment Inspection (Mobile)

  1. Open the BusyBusy mobile app.

  2. Begin the Clock Out process or Switch equipment.

  3. If a post-operation inspection is assigned, it will appear.

  4. Tap Equipment Inspection to open the inspection.

Complete the inspection

  1. Review each inspection item.

  2. Tap Pass or Fail for each item.

    • Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required and must be completed before submission.

  3. To add more detail, tap an item name to:

    • Add notes

    • Attach photos

    • Update the item status

Once all required items are completed, tap Submit Inspection.

Select the overall condition

After submitting the checklist items, select the overall condition of the equipment:

  • Satisfactory – Safe to operate

  • Needs Attention – Minor issues; still safe to operate

  • Unsatisfactory – Not safe to operate

Inspections marked Needs Attention or Unsatisfactory are flagged for resolution by a supervisor or administrator.

Tap Sign to submit the inspection and finish clocking out or switching equipment.

Skip a post-operation inspection

If circumstances prevent an inspection from being completed, the inspection can be skipped.

  1. Tap Skip on the inspection screen.

  2. Review the warning message.

  3. Choose Skip to continue clocking out, or Cancel to return to the inspection.

Important: Skipping an inspection does not create an inspection record.
