Complete a Pre-Op Equipment Inspection
On your mobile device, open the BusyBusy app.
From the Dashboard tap Clock In.
Select a piece of equipment that has a pre-operation inspection assigned.
Tap Save.
*If a pre-operation inspection is required for the selected equipment, the inspection automatically appears.
Complete the inspection
Click Perform Inspection on the bottom.
Review each inspection item.
Tap Pass or Fail for each item.
Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required and must be completed before submission.
To add more detail, tap an inspection item name to:
Add notes
Attach photos
Update the item status
Once all required items are completed, tap Submit Inspection.
Select the overall condition
After submitting the checklist items, select the overall condition of the equipment:
Satisfactory – Safe to operate.
Needs Attention – Minor defects. Still safe to operate.
Unsatisfactory – Not safe to operate.
Inspections marked Needs Attention or Unsatisfactory are flagged for resolution by a supervisor or administrator.
Tap Done to submit the inspection.
*You may be asked to sign, certifying that the report is correct to the best of your knowledge.
Skip a pre-operation inspection
If circumstances prevent an inspection from being completed, the inspection can be skipped.
Tap Skip on the inspection screen.
Review the warning message, which says, "Are you sure? Pre-operation inspections are vital for the safety of employees. You should only skip the pre-operation inspection if you will not be operating the equipment."
Choose Skip to continue clocking in, or Cancel to return to the inspection.

Completing a pre-operation inspection after skipping
From the Dashboard, click the three horizontal line icon on the top left.
Tap on Reports.
Click Equipment Inspections.
Click the + sign on the top.
Tap Checklist (for example: Pre-Op).
Choose a piece of Equipment.
Click Next.
Complete the inspection.
