If the time entries in QBO are mapped to "BusyBusy Hours" as the service item or "BusyBusy Project" as the customer rather than the specific job or cost code tracked in BusyBusy, it is likely a mapping issue.
These are the default, fallback items that the integration uses when the system could not find an exact text match between BusyBusy and QBO for the project or cost code. In this case, it routes the entry to the default fallback code/project to prevent data loss. This can happen often when projects or cost codes have been created in BusyBusy first, rather than brought over from QuickBooks when they are created there.
How to Fix:
Check Project Names: Verify that the Project Name in BusyBusy matches the Customer Name in QBO exactly. Any Subproject in BusyBusy must match the Project or Sub-Customer name in QBO word-for-word.
Check Cost Codes: Verify that the Cost Code Name in BusyBusy matches the Service Item Name in QBO word-for-word. (Note: Descriptions do not need to match. Only the names must be identical).
Once you update the names in QBO or BusyBusy to match exactly, future time entries will link to the correct items.
