BusyBusy tracks exact time by default, so you will know exactly what time an employee clocks in, performs a switch, goes on break and clocks out. But what if you wanted the time to be rounded instead? You’re in luck! BusyBusy offers the option for time rounding within your company settings. This article will guide you through how you can set up and use time rounding in your BusyBusy account. Let’s get started!
You must be an Admin or have the permission to Manage Company Settings enabled in order to access the Time Rounding feature in your account. |

There are four types of time rounding:
Nearest: Will round to the nearest time interval you select. For example, if you choose the nearest 15 minutes and an employee clocks in at 7:12 AM it will round the time to 7:15 AM. If they clock in at 7:06 AM it will round to 7:00 AM.
Round Down: Will round the time down by the time interval you have chosen. For example, if you choose to round down by 5 minutes and an employee clocks in at 7:07 AM it will round down to 7:02 AM. If they clock out at 4:03 PM it will round down to 3:58 PM.
Round Up: Will round the time up by the time interval you have chosen. For example, if you choose to round up by 5 minutes and an employee clocks in at 7:03 AM it will round up to 7:08 AM. If they clock out at 4:01 PM it will round up to 4:06 PM.
