Enabling equipment tracking in your BusyBusy account, allows you to track equipment usage when employees track their time to specific pieces of equipment, as well as log the most recent hour meter readings for each machine. You can also track equipment costs, locations and even assign Inspections*, require and restrict access with Certifications*, and install GPS Devices* and Cameras* in your equipment. *Requires the purchase of additional product features and services.*
First, you will need to Enable Equipment Tracking in BusyBusy. You will also have the option to enable Multi-Equipment Tracking (Pro and Premium plan required), and Equipment Inspections (only available with additional purchase). Enabling Equipment Tracking
On the Web:
Go from the left navigation menu to Settings > Time Keeping > Equipment Tracking, and check the box to enable Equipment Tracking.
(Optional) You can also check the box to enable Multi-Equipment Tracking and/or Inspections if available.
Multi-Equipment Tracking:
Allow employees to clock in to multiple equipment at the same time. Employees will be able to select the equipment they will be operating, as well as any add-on equipment they will be using indirectly, such as attachments, trailers, generators, etc.
Inspections:
Allow operators and/or inspectors to perform a variety of equipment
On iOS:
Go from the left side menu to Settings > Company > Track Time on Equipment, and toggle it on to enable.
(Optional) You can also enable Multi-Equipment Tracking and/or Equipment Inspections if available.
On Android:
From the left side menu go to Settings > Time Keeping > Track Time on Equipment, and toggle it on to enable.
(Optional) You can also enable Multi-Equipment Tracking and/or Equipment Inspections if available.
