Use this guide to help standardize safety processes, improve communication, and keep your crews informed and protected by creating, managing, and reviewing Safety Inspections on the BusyBusy mobile app.
Set Safety Inspection Permissions (Mobile)
Admins can control which positions can perform and manage safety inspections.
Steps:
Open the BusyBusy mobile app.
Tap Settings in the main menu.
Tap Company.
Tap Positions.
Select the position you want to update.
Scroll down and tap Manage Safety.
Enable the desired permissions:
Perform Inspections – Allows users to complete inspections.
Manage Inspections – Allows users to assign, view, delete inspections, and manage checklists.
Tap Save or Done.
Assign a Safety Inspection (Mobile)
Users with permission to manage inspections can assign inspections from mobile.
Steps:
Tap Safety from the left side menu.
Tap Inspections at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the + (plus icon):
Bottom of the screen (Android)
Top corner (iOS)
Set the inspection date.
Select the Project.
Choose the Inspector.
Select the Checklist.
Add a description (optional).
Set Reminder:
Toggle Remind Inspector on and select the time.
Set Notifications:
Toggle Notifications on.
Choose Circumstances:
Always, or
Low Score (set threshold).
Choose Recipients.
9. Tap Save or Done.
Complete a Safety Inspection (Mobile)
Inspectors can complete assigned inspections directly from their mobile device.
Steps:
Tap Safety from the left side menu.
Tap Inspections.
Use the dropdown at the top and select Assigned to Me.
Tap the inspection you want to complete.
To Answer Questions:
Select a category.
Tap each question and answer Yes or No.
To Add Details to an Answer:
Tap a question to:
Add photos.
Add comments.
Assign a severity level (for negative responses).
Mark as Immediately Corrected if resolved.
3. Tap Save for each question.
4. Continue through all categories.
Submit Inspection:
Tap Submit when complete.
If categories are incomplete, a warning will appear before submission.
View Completed Inspections (Mobile)
Users can review completed inspections directly from the mobile app.
Steps:
Tap Safety from the left side menu.
Tap Inspections.
Tap the Completed tab.
Select an inspection.
What You Can See:
Inspection score.
Comments and notes.
Photos (tap to enlarge).
Responses to each question.
Set Reminders for Inspections (Mobile)
Reminders help ensure inspections are completed on time.
Steps:
Start assigning an inspection.
Toggle Reminder on.
Set the reminder time.
Save the inspection.
Set Notifications for Completed Inspections (Mobile)
Notifications keep managers informed when inspections are completed, especially when issues arise.
Steps:
Start assigning an inspection.
Toggle Notification on.
Select recipients.
Choose:
Always, or
Low Score (set threshold).
Save the inspection.
