BusyBusy lets you use existing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reports as part of your safety training sessions. This is a great way to reinforce job-specific hazards and safety procedures during group meetings, and it ensures those reviews are logged for compliance.
This article explains how to attach a JSA to a training meeting, how to conduct the session, and how attendee signatures are tracked.
| Who Can Attach a JSA to a Training? Only users with permission to create and manage safety trainings will be able to schedule a training meeting and attach a JSA as training material. |
How to Attach a JSA to a Safety Meeting
Go to Safety in the left-hand menu.
Click on Training.
Click on the Schedule button to create a new training session.
Enter the date, time, and instructor.
Click Training Materials to open your training library.
Click on the Source drop-down menu.
Select JSA Reports and then click Submit.
The JSA is now attached to the training session.
Running the Meeting
Once the meeting begins:
The instructor can open the attached JSA and walk through it step-by-step with the team.
This ensures the group is reviewing the correct version of the JSA, and everyone is on the same page.
Recording Attendee Signatures
After the meeting:
Each attendee signs the digital attendance to confirm their participation.
These signatures are automatically recorded in two places:
The Training record for the session.
The associated JSA, showing that each employee has reviewed it as part of training.
This creates a clear, auditable link between the JSA and the employees who reviewed it.
Why Use JSAs in Training?
Reinforces job-specific safety procedures in a group setting.
Keeps review records tied to both the training and the JSA.
Helps meet compliance requirements with less manual follow-up.
Ensures team-wide understanding of hazards and precautions.
