AI Summarization Tool in Field Reports (Web)

BusyBusy’s new AI Field Report Summarization feature helps you quickly surface key insights from multiple reports — without needing to read through them one by one. Whether you’re reviewing safety notes, equipment use, or employee progress, AI Summaries make it easier to get a clear picture of what’s happening in the field.

With just a few clicks, you can:

  • Select up to 7 completed Field Reports

  • Choose which sections to summarize (e.g., Safety, Employee Progress, Equipment)

  • Add optional instructions to guide how the AI structures the response

  • Generate a clear, concise summary that highlights what matters most

Summarize Field Reports with AI

  1. From the left-hand menu, select Field Reports
    ​

  2. Select up to 7 completed reports you want to summarize by using the checkbox next to the report.
    ​

  3. Click the AI Summarization button in the header.
    ​

  4. Choose the Summary Length by sliding the bar.

  5. Choose the sections you want the AI to include, those sections include:

    • Weather

    • Progress Summary

    • Employee Summary

    • Cost Code Summary

    • Equipment Summary

    • Subprojects

    • Safety

    • Non Employee

    • Description

  6. (Optional) Add Additional Instructions

    • Some examples you can add are:

      • “Focus on safety issues and delays”

      • “Summarize crew progress by task”

  7. Click Summarize

Within seconds, the AI will produce a clean text summary based on your inputs.

Things to Know

  • You can summarize up to 7 reports at once

  • The more specific your prompt, the more useful your summary.

  • The summary is not editable, but you can copy and paste it into messages, reports, or other tools.
