Overview
The Edit Current Pay Period feature allows administrators to modify pay period settings without contacting support.
โ ๏ธ Adjusting a pay period can impact payroll calculations, so changes should be made carefully.
Who Can Edit Pay Periods?
Only users with Admin permissions can make changes to pay periods. If editing is not available, check with an administrator.
Editing a Pay Period
Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
Click on Pay Period & Overtime.
Click the Pay Period section.
Adjust the following details as needed:
Pay Period Length (Weekly, Biweekly, Semi-Monthly, Monthly)
Pay Period begins (choices depend on the Length selected)
Effective Date: Choose the date the Pay Period Edit will go into effect.
Click Update to apply the changes.
Important Notes
Editing a pay period affects payroll calculations for the affected time range.
If changes result in conflicts with existing Pay Period History, a warning will prompt adjustments.
It is recommended to review Pay Period History before making modifications.
